Franck Pourcel

Between 1956 to 1972 Franck Pourcel conducted in 15 of these events (twice in 1956) for the song representing France, which is a rare circumstance and a representation of how high esteem he was in his country. France hosted the Contest in 1959 and 1961 and Pourcel was the musical director and he conducted his own orchestra in these two occasions. These two years, he conducted the orchestra for countries that did not bring their own conductor. In the links that follow, I have placed some screenshots.
